Update on today

So we took Skylynn to the doctor today, and she's got a sever ear infection on her right ear. Go figure. Hopefully we don't hit the same point as we hit January of last year when she had to get tubes put into her ears. I really don't want her to have to get tubes again, but hopefully it won't hit that point again.

She woke up last night at 11:45 screaming and burning up. Took her temp and she was at 102. Gave her tylenol and got her to go back to bed by coming into bed with us at about 12:30 last night. Poor baby didn't feel good at all.

She's now on amoxicilin three times a day and the tylenol cold and cough every four hours to keep her nose clear so she can feel better.

To top it all off this morning I woke up with a migraine which I still have a touch of, but I'm doing alright. Chris had to take the day off and take care of the kids since I had to take my medicine.

One of my best friends, Jennifer, her sister is in a hospital in Pheonix. She's pregnant and due in the middle of next month. She's showing all the signs of Pre-Eclampsia. She's gotten the steroid shot last night, and is getting another one tonight at 12:30. Her blood pressure goes up, her swelling goes down, Her swelling goes up and her blood pressure goes down. Is all too confusing. They're thinking they're going to do an amnio tomorrow to see exactly how Casey (the baby) is developed and if it is safe for him to come out or not. We're all hoping that he'll be set to come out because it seems like they're going to have to deliver him. So our prayers are with her and the baby in this scary time. Chances are even if he does have to be delivered, that he'll be fine since she is so far along.

Well with all of this, I'm going to head to bed. My love to all.

Mondays

Ok, so it’s been a crazy day! Baby still not feeling well, forgot that the carpet cleaning people were coming to give an estimate this morning and clean the carpets if we wanted, Chris started work half hour earlier, which means I have to crawl my butt outta bed earlier, Sean and Skylynn were on a roll at breakfast, and it rained last night…. Which means back yard is muddy and can’t throw older two outside to play.

Before Chris went off to work, after I woke up, I had enough time to get coffee on, and smoke before the door bell rang. Was carpet guys. So for us to get front room, dining room, living room, and hallway cleaned, and have starch guard added onto it, it was only 105 bucks!! Not bad if you ask me! But of course since we decided to go ahead and get it cleaned, we had to move the table, chairs, and all the loose stuff out of the front room and living/dining room! That took like 20 minutes. At least the kids had eaten by then. So they get the carpet cleaned, and then tell me (which I didn’t know), that it takes like 8-10 hours to dry… I went, OMG you’ve got to be kidding me! Great… so baby now was stuck on me, in saucer, or play pen, kitchen was full of furniture, and I had to get dinner on. I was pretty successful on getting the chicken in the roaster by 1. Go that accomplished at least! So we’ll have dinner, even if we can’t put the table back and eat there this evening. It’s amazing how much space we have now that those few things are no longer put there. Opens up the whole house!! ;) LOL But will be glad to have my kitchen back.

Skylynn kept getting up on Sean’s bed today during naptime, I’ve tried everything to get her to stay off of there during nap time! I’m at a loss of what to do short of putting the other crib back up and putting her back in there for nap time to get my point across! I’ve tried sternly talking, yelling, threatening, spanking, lecturing, explaining…. Anyone have any ideas I’m open.

God forgive I put her down at some points today. She took a nice hour long nap this morning, then took at ten minute nap at 1... (pulls hair out) then took 30 minute nap at 3.… now is once again whining and tired at 4:45. And if I put her down now, she’ll stay up late tonight…. Grrr she needs to figure out here schedule again. Was 10, 1, and 4.… wish she’d go back to it. Even if it was only 30 mintues at a time, it was a schedule.

So Sean just woke up from his nap, Skylynn got up at 3... He slept for forever! He fell asleep probably around 230... Go figure!

Well now that all 3 are up and running, and she’s crying I gotta take off.

Good night all!

Trying to get some pictures out there

My Kiddo's: Sean 4 1/2, Skylynn 2 1/2 And Serena 6 mths old! Serena was in it, Sean decided to get in with her, and then Skylynn had to join in on the fun. We were playin on Saturday morning while cleaning!

This is actually Sky's head band, but she wanted to share with Serena, and it looked soo cute that we couldn't resist taking a few pictures with her in it. Even though she is still in her pajamas!

She's so cute and such a looker too hehehehe. She is becoming such a cutie pie and understanding what the camera is :)

She's hanging out in the tote having a good time being able to stand up on her own!

Sean and Sky's turn in the tote. He loves his sisters. He wanted Sky to come in and play with him! Skylynn went with mom to get her nails done on Friday night, so here she is sporting her bright pink finger nail polish. She picked it out herself and kept saying she wanted "pink" on her "fingers" nails heheheh

Sean's new thing is sticking out his tounge when going to take his picture! Sky's still smiling for you sometimes, and Serena, well she's figureing it out.

Trying to get 3 kids to look the same way at the same time is not as easy as it sounds!

Mom got into play too!

Serena and Liet playing on the floor together after our Jewlery party on Saturday evening. Kathi hung out afterwards and stayed for awhile. It was nice, we havn't hung out for a few months. The only one we missing was Emily and Kayla to round out the group of babies from work!

Liet has gotten so big! He's only a week older than Serena!

He's teething too, and still hasn't cut any teeth. Kathi and I are wondering which one will do it first! They're both suffering from the same cold, and both are having a rough time of it, just cause theres not alot that you can do for them, but they're both getting over it thank goodness!!

Checking things out from the floor....

Well thats a few new pictures for everyone to see of the kids, taken just a few days ago! Hope all is well with you guys, and we're all doing alright with the exception of the colds! Love to all.
Tiffany, Chris, Sean, Skylynn, and Serena.

How it's going

So Friday, I went over and helped my best friend Malinda’s sister I (who is also like my sister) pack up her 14 foot Pensky truck to move to Washington state. All of their stuff was in Mom’s two car garage packed to the hilt. I did the organizing and they did the lifting! Now I did rearrange some stuff, but I was a good girl and didn’t do too much over my head and anything to heavy. So we managed to get everything in, with a little ingenuity and with enough room left at the end for the stuff from inside the house to fit, the kids bikes, and the dog and his crate on the end. So needless to say I think we did an awesome job. I like the organizing of it all, it’s like a game of tetris, which shape fits where lol. The older two, Sean and Sky, stayed at Aunt Debi’s house that day and got to go to the zoo. Sean called me and told me all about his Anteater penny. It was so cute. By the time we were done with the truck, it was like 6:00. I called Debi and she kept the kids over night for us. The baby, Serena did really well the whole day, she stayed with Crystal most of the time, and wasn’t too cranky thank goodess! I had a doctors apt at 2:30, for my shoulder and ended up getting an x-ray done. I will get the results sometime first part of this week. We all went out to dinner at Village Inn that night. We learned Serena LOVES lemons, not to give Chris lemons, and not to have Audrey and Malinda try to get the last of anything out of the bottom of a glass bottle. Audrey hit it on her hand wrong, then Malinda tried to use gravity by flinging the jar in a downwards fashion, and didn’t make sure that the lid was on right. Needless to say the remaining cocktail sauce went all over the floor. It was hilarious. Guess you had to be there, but at the end of a day, we were all dieing laughing. We all went our different ways after dinner dreading the morning to come.

So Saturday came around, and that was an emotional morning. You get 4 women and one teenage girl together to say goodbye, and it becomes a little heart wrenching. So Misty has lived in Rita Ranch with mom for a number of years now, and she’s always been in Tucson with us. Now she’s moving like 1800 miles away or something like that. When Malinda moved to CA we all knew she’d be coming back to Tucson, so it was a see you later, rather than “goodbye make sure to call.” So Mom was saying good bye to her eldest child, son-in-law, and grandchildren. Misty was saying goodbye to her mom, sisters, and brother, and all of us were saying good bye to her and her family. It was hard, but necessary. We all know that it is what is best for her and her family. We packed the last of the stuff up, and got the car on the tow hitch, and began our goodbyes. We lost it at that point, but we managed to stop crying about half an hour after they left. I then went home, cleaned my house, and got ready for our Princess Bride movie and pot luck party. Was a good time, had friends, food, and good times. Got to introduced Chris to the movie, but he didn’t seem to enjoy it as much as the rest of us. But that’s alright. Holly made this really awesome cake that was like picture perfect for the movie. I need to get the pic from her and then I’ll post it! Everyone cleared out at like 11 pm. Was a late night.

Sunday morning we were lucky enough that the kids slept in, Serena til like 8 and the older two til like 9. It was awesome. Chris came home from church right as they were waking up! Finished cleaning up the house from the party and then had dinner at the Melting Pot with my Uncle. Was good times.

So at Serena’s last apt for 6 mths, she was almost 14 lbs, and 26 ½ inches long. She’s long and skinny little thing. But growing well, and crawling all over the place. The other day I went potty, and came back out and she was under the dining table! She’s fast as can be, but she doesn’t get her middle off of the floor, she does the combat crawl!

Sean is having a hard time with his cold he’s got. Having to do the breathing treatments with him. Saturday night, almost had to take him to ER I was so worried. But finally the treatments worked and he was able to get some sleep and stop coughing! We’re going to be getting him started in school this August, we found a charter school to get him into. Their cut off date for turning 5 is 12/31 of this year. He’s excited about it!

Skylynn is being your typical two year old. Not liking doing what you tell her to do, and all that comes with it. She’s finally growing again. She’s a 3 T on top and a 2 T on bottom. Finally out grew her 24 mths pants. She’s doing well otherwise. We got her ears pierced a little over a month ago. She likes them! Well, that’s about it for now. Will check back with everyone later!

Our love to all!
