Happy Mothers day!

I realized I forgot too post this picture to show what Audrey did with the kids for Mother's day. Sky's shirt says Happy, Sean's says Mothers, and Serena's says Day. It's cute, she did the kids standing together in a picture with a home painted picture frame for me, it's the picture on top. It was so sweet :)

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

What a long weekend

So, it actually started Wednesday night, Sean popped a fever and had to then see doctor thursday so we knew what it was so we could figure out if he was getting his surgery done on Friday or not! So he had possiblity of strep throat (yeah us!) so they couldn't do the surgery. Have to reschedule it. They're supposed to call me sometime today so that I can do that. So Friday we ended up not doing the surgery. Audrey had doctors apt Friday afternoon, and was having alot of trouble breathing at that point, she just went in for a follow up to her uti infection from the ER sunday night. Come to find out two things. First: they gave her the wrong anti-biotics for the uti, and second she's got pnemonia. Now she had mentioned to the ER doc on sunday night that she was having some breathing problems, but they just pretty much blew her off. Go figure right? So she comes home Friday, rests, feels little bit better. Friday night, I help Misty and Malinda and Misty's husband Noel to move the storage shed with Misty and Noels house in it, to the new house they just rented. Had a few more guys there Friday night, so went pretty quick. We got 2/3 of it emptied in 3 hours including driving time and with little breaks here and there. Went back Saturday morning, got there at 8 am. Noel was late... as usual. We didn't get started til almost 9.... I was not thrilled. But we got the last of it out in one load. Went back, unloaded it, that took little while as mostly furniture and had to put it where it belongs as that only makes sense. I didn't do any heavy lifting mind you, just arranged boxes in my van and did the chain of people to move boxes. Went to Malinda's apt, packed stuff up, did the chain gang down the steps and piled it at the bottom, was able to get half her appt in one load! Yeah us! We were done with that by about 2. Had the baby by that time, Chris came home took nap at the same time as older two. Came home, rested for little while, then went swimming. Audrey came with us....

Saturday night Audrey had massive problems breating at 2:30 am... probably should have gone to er then, but thought she'd be able to wait out til had new anti biotics for 24 hours. Now we're at Sunday morning. Kept kids in my room with my while Serena slept so Audrey could rest. Baby wakes up, kids play in living room. Getting everyone ready for nap time, Audrey has to go to ER, drop Audrey off at 2:30 to TMC. She's there all day, poor thing. Was pretty good afternoon with kids. Chris let me go watch movie with Sky in our room so I got to take about hour nap. Good thing too! Went back to TMC at 8:30 to see how Audrey was doing. They said she's borderline needing to stay. She wanted to come home. They made her promise she'd come back if gets bad again. She promised so they'll let her come home. At 9 they said probably within the hour... we didn't get home til 11! Now I wasn't able to get to sleep til 11:30. Got up with Serena at 5:30. Then couldn't get back to sleep since she was awake. Had to leave at 7 this morning to pick JC up to take him to school.... got home by 7:45.

Managed to make eggs and bacon for breakfast. Hadn't made bacon in years... burned the bacon. Smoked out the house with the first batch. Poor Audrey, couldn't breathe cause of the pnemonia combined with the smoke she had to sit outside while I aired out the house! She's so exausted from the pnemonia she can barley stay awake. Poor thing! And can't lay down in her bed because she can't breathe then, so is sleeping in the lazy boy chair in the living room. The good news is that once the anti-biotics really start to kick in her system it'll get it under control, but it can take up to two weeks to get over pnemonia! Hopefully, for her sake, it's only the one week, but it can take two.

Well, now I've done this, and now I have to get the energy to start my laundry again, fold what I have sitting here, and get my dishes done before the baby wakes up in the next 45 minutes or so... wish me luck!!

Have a wonderful monday everyone!

Wow I'm tired

So Serena had her 9 month old check up yesterday, and poor little thing got two shots. One in each leg. Debi was kind enough to watch the older kids for me while I took Serena to the doctor. She told me don't worry about picking them up when I called her to tell her we were done, she'd keep the for the day. That was fine with me, because not even an hour later, she was running a fever. Debi decided to keep the kiddo's over night for a movie night last night. Thank God she did! I so owe her for that one! Serena was doing tylenol every four hours, and was still climbing pretty close to 103. So we got to do a tepid bath at one point, and she wouldn't be put down, except for a short stretch of like thirty minutes that after noon. She ended up sleeping on me til almost 10 last night before I was able to get her relaxed enough to go into her bed. At least yesterday she was cranky, but happy to be held and was just chilling with me. Today, not so good. She didn't want to sleep, she didn't want to play, she didn't want to be held. It was HORRIBLE today. She did all of these things for short period of times today, but not alot. She was just miserable, not that I can blame her. She wants to play but ever time she moved her little legs, they hurt her. But she's asleep tonight, at least now she is and for a while so hopefully it holds. I'm going to head to bed soon so that I can get some sleep.

Oh I forgot to say how big she is.... Opps!! So she's finally 16 lbs, 2 oz, and 28 1/4 inches long. She's long and skinny. She's 10% for her weight still, but 75% for her height, and 75% for her head circumfrance. The doctors happy since she's growing at the same curve and hasn't dropped off anywhere so she's doing good!

Everyone else seems to be doing just fine. I'm a little anxious about Sean's tonsil and adnoid surgery Friday, but we should be outta there by 9:15 that morning, God willing and everything going well.

Everyone have a wonderful rest of your week as we all go about our stuff..

PS here's a picture of the Super Baby taken a few weeks ago.

Everyone is feeling better

So the good news is that everyone is feeling better! For the moment at least. It's Friday night, and we're feeling alright… duh dunk chink! Hehehe Well the kiddo's are in bed and hopefully sleeping soundly. Not hearing a peep out of them! Tomorrow night Chris and I have a couples date night set up with a friend of mine and his wife. We're going to go see the new Star Trek movie! I am sooo excited, I get to see Star Trek, go out on a date with my husband with no kids, and see my friend Tony and his wife Missy. They've got a little girl Madison who is about the same age as Skylynn, and their son Drako is 6 months old, just about Serena's age. We're hopefully this next week going to be able to meet up with them at the water park we have across town. It's actually pretty cool, there's not a pool are anything, just jets of water that come out and sprays and some buckets that dump water. We've been there before and the kids just love it. Hopefully we don't come down with anything else any time soon. We send our love out to everyone and can't wait to see everyone as soon as we can. To those who are mothers, happy mother's day and I hope it all goes well for you Sunday!

Being Sick Sucks

So as I said before, night before last Serena was throwing up. Well last night was Sky's turn... ended up having to take her to the er to get her medicine to stop! While we were there it was Mommy's turn.... that sucked let me tell you! Lost it right before we went back to her room, then lost it twice while we were there. The good news is we weren't there that long, all things considered for an er! Got there about 9:45 and was home by about 12:30. The good news is I havn't gotten sick since last night, though don't get me wrong I've had to fight it a few times. Poor Chris, he's had to take care of all of us, and he was so worried last night that he couldn't sleep til we got home. I'm telling you, I lucked out with him as a husband, he spoils me rotten. Poor thing was so tired, while the baby was sleeping her 2 hour nap, I made him go lay down and get some more sleep. He says he feels little better now because of it. I'm able to stay awake now and not woozy as long as I'm not moving! I can honestly tell Skylynn now that I knew EXACTLY how she was feeling when she was getting sick. I'm just waiting for Sean to get it, and Chris.... I know that sounds horrible, but I just hope it's not tonight but our luck it will be. Sean's not showing any indications that he's going to get it, but you never know! Here's to praying that he doesn't get it! Audrey seems to have gotten it last night also in the middle of the night, and seems to be on the tail end of it. Hopefully she recovers as fast as the rest of us have. Poor thing even tried working with this going on!

I think I figured out where we got it from, because my girlfriends that I had lunch with on Saturday, Emily her little girl has the flu now, and the other one Kathy has the same thing going on that we have here! Isn't it wonderful what people spread around? Oh well, it happens!

We all seem to be on the mend now, so hopefully it continues.

I'm going to go eat some more crackers and try to sleep some more!

The light at the end of the tunnel has dimmed....

So I took Sky to doctors office today, her bottom appears to be cleared up, finally! Just have to finish off penicillin for the strep. All was going alright, baby had loose stool that just turned into water by the end of the day, then started throwing up at about 6. She's thrown up 4 or 5 times since then. She's finally asleep and held down about half of a 4 oz bottle. She was starving and couldn't not feed her you know? So I'm hoping she doesn't throw up again tonight. It would mean that we'd have to go to the ER to make sure not dehydrated. I'd much rather make sick appt tomorrow with her doctor. I'm crossing my fingers that this is it for a little while, otherwise I think I'll go insane... But otherwise, we're all getting healthier than we have been in the last month I swear! My face doesn't hurt as much, have a bit longer to go, but looking as a good prognosis.

Talked to my dentist and told him that was sinus infection, needless to say he was happy. If by the end of the anti-biotics my teeth pain isn't gone, I'll have to go back, but here's to hopeing!!

With that said, I'm going to try to get some sleep.

Chris's 36th Birthday

So for Chris's birthday, he got to spend the afternoon playing with Sean on the Wii. Since he was kind enough to tell us his plans, he got to open is present from Audrey before we did his dinner and cake hehehehhe. She got him (as you'll be able to see in the pics) the Indiana Jones Lego Wii game, and the Silver Surfer game. We then did a good home cooked meal, and had a cake that I made for his birthday. Sean helped put the candles on. He wanted to help light them too... I put a big X on that one!! Serena got her first taste of cake this evening and oh did she like it! Skylynn was obsessed with the cake from the moment she noticed me putting it together! Ever other question was "Can I have cake?" I was like OMG wait till after dinner!! But all in all, it was a good day. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the time that they were made.

Our love to everyone, lets enjoy the month of May!

Round Two anyone?

Ok so I had my doctors apt. on Friday to quit smoking. I'm on augmentin for the MAJOR sinus infection I have in the entire left side of my face. I'll be taking it twice a day for three whole weeks. Once i get done with that, I can start the medicine to stop smoking. It can take up to three months, but I hope it doesn't take that long. Once that is done I get to start the isoniazid for 6 months. At least it's only that long and not 9 months. But Sky is getting clearer, but doctor still wants to see her monday to double check her bottom. Wish it was all clear, but its not :(. Ah well.

Today is Chris's birthday, and we got to celebrate it early on Friday night. we went out to dinner to a restaurant to My Big Fat Greek Restaurant. It was good food!! Then we went to see the X-Men movie, it was AWESOME!! We're doing a nice dinner tonight and a cake to celebrate with the kids. IT's going to be fun :).

Well gotta run, baby is looking for attention... always fun to play with her!
