So Serena had her 9 month old check up yesterday, and poor little thing got two shots. One in each leg. Debi was kind enough to watch the older kids for me while I took Serena to the doctor. She told me don't worry about picking them up when I called her to tell her we were done, she'd keep the for the day. That was fine with me, because not even an hour later, she was running a fever. Debi decided to keep the kiddo's over night for a movie night last night. Thank God she did! I so owe her for that one! Serena was doing tylenol every four hours, and was still climbing pretty close to 103. So we got to do a tepid bath at one point, and she wouldn't be put down, except for a short stretch of like thirty minutes that after noon. She ended up sleeping on me til almost 10 last night before I was able to get her relaxed enough to go into her bed. At least yesterday she was cranky, but happy to be held and was just chilling with me. Today, not so good. She didn't want to sleep, she didn't want to play, she didn't want to be held. It was HORRIBLE today. She did all of these things for short period of times today, but not alot. She was just miserable, not that I can blame her. She wants to play but ever time she moved her little legs, they hurt her. But she's asleep tonight, at least now she is and for a while so hopefully it holds. I'm going to head to bed soon so that I can get some sleep.
Oh I forgot to say how big she is.... Opps!! So she's finally 16 lbs, 2 oz, and 28 1/4 inches long. She's long and skinny. She's 10% for her weight still, but 75% for her height, and 75% for her head circumfrance. The doctors happy since she's growing at the same curve and hasn't dropped off anywhere so she's doing good!
Everyone else seems to be doing just fine. I'm a little anxious about Sean's tonsil and adnoid surgery Friday, but we should be outta there by 9:15 that morning, God willing and everything going well.
Everyone have a wonderful rest of your week as we all go about our stuff..
PS here's a picture of the Super Baby taken a few weeks ago.
