Ok so the last little bit has been not as eventful as before, but still good stuffs. So Malinda's sister has come home to Tucson, and is now staying at Erin's house til they can get a new place with Malinda when her lease is up at the end of May. Yeah!!! We're so happy that she is home now!
Sean has been started in a Asthma study through the UofA. It's to see if low doses of Pulmacort on a daily basis is better than high doses of it during time of upper resperatory illness that agrivates the breathing. They did an allergy test, and it came out positive to tree pollen, dust mites, and weeds. I live in a state that abounds with these things! Go figure.... and that explaines why he has more problems with his breathing when the weather changes and crap starts to bloom! But he's not allergic to cats or dogs. But we already knew that LOL!!
Serena started plugging up again yesterday afternoon and her nose started going again, so this morning I called up and made her an appt. She's got allergies herself... she's now on Claritin once a day, starting in the morning. Hopefully it works!
Sean had his eye doctor appt today, and he gets to have reading glasses, just to help him out when he's trying to do things close up. He doesn't have to have them, but it's to help him not strain his eyes, and to break the habit he's got of leaning over and getting things closer to him to see better. Apparently kids at his age, only have an eye sight of 20/50. I didn't know that. He's doing pretty good, he's at 20/35 so he's above average on that score. While we were there, Serena was just digging away at her right eye, and the doc asked if she was ok. Told her that she's got alergies, we found out today. She had eye drops that were like liquid claritin for the eyes, and we gave it a shot. She didn't rub her eyes one more time all day after that! She gave me a script to give her if the regular Claritin doesn't take care of the eye itchyness. Yeah!!
Discussed with her doctor today also my concerns of not producing enough for her to eat. We're going to be supplementing some with formula. She seems to be taking it now. She really has not gained alot here recently, and I was getting worried. Hopefully she'll start putting the weight on! I had tried to supplement a quite a few times over the last months and she just wouldn't take the formula! Now she will so I'm happy about !
Well on that note, I'm off to bed! Everyone sleep well!
