Sean is now officially 5, and he had a few birthday parties, and got some pretty cool things for his birthday. He got a Nintendo DS Lite system, with a couple of games with it. He also got a docking station, a darth vader skin and lightsaber stylus kit, car charger kit, carrying case for things, and screen protectors. He got some star wars action figures, and some marvel comic action figures. He thought they were totally cool! He also got a Ben 10 and Bakugan (sp?) shirt and short outfits. Spiderman backpack, and a camera with changable spiderman face plates. He loves to take pictures.
Along with his birthday, mine came around also. I like to just think about his, but alas mine is the day after so we have to remember mine also. LOL. So Chris and i went out for dinner, and then I got to go to Bed Bath and Beyond. I got a new bed set for our bed, It's pretty :). Has the comforter, two sets of sheets with pillow cases, two pillows, and 4 pillow shams... have to get the right pillows for those though. I also got some collapsable measuring cups, spoons, and funnel. They're pretty cool! Along with this, I got two pie plates (I'm going to try to bake pies), a new cutting board (mines nasty), a bigger cooling rack that will hold the two loaves of bread I make at a time, and a shower shelving unit. One that brases against the roof kind. But here is the best gift of all...
On September 29th, my girlfriend Kim went into labor. We all headed off to the hospital, and things really started rolling at about 10 that night. We went through til about 2:30 or 3 when she got the epidural. We then got some sleep (or at least I did), until 7. Apparently they came in and broke her water at lik 5:30. I vaguely remember that happening, but alas, I was passed straight out. So at 7, she tells me that she thinks things have changed. We get her nurse in, call her mom to come to the hospital, and she was finally at 4.5-5 cm dialated. We finally hit 9 cm at 11, and ten at pushing at 11:40ish. The baby Telana Jade Anne was born at 11:55 am, weighing in at 6 lbs 10 oz and 18 inches long. She's so cute but tiny! It was a miraculous thing to witness a new life coming into this world. Johnny's grandmother and I helped hold her legs while she pushed, and Johnny and her mom helped to support her shoulders and back. She did a beautiful job! Can't beat pushing for only 10-15 minutes of pushing by much! I just can't put into words how miraculous it is. I mean it's intense when you're the one giving birth, but to be witnessing it, especially when you've been there since the test came out positive is totally cool!
I was so proud of Sean last week at school, on Monday he had a spelling test, his first ever. He got 100% on it! Not only did he write it once but he did it like 3 times for each word lol! He did so good. I'm so proud of him. Tonight he's out with Jen and her boys going to go watch G-Force at the cheap theaters. Sky is sitting here on the couch with us watching the end of Willie Wanka and the Chocolate factory. Poor Serena's got a head cold going on, she's got a sinus infection so she's on antibiotics.
Sharon and Vince came down for the weekend in the middle of the month, and it was a blast while they were here. The saturday they were here Chris took the older three kids with them to Funtastics and they had a blast apparently. That was they day that we did my girlfriend Kim's baby shower, hence why i wasn't there :). Sky got some good time with grandma and grandpa, she loves them to pieces, always asks to talk to them on the phone. And of course, they have no problems talking to her, they love it too. Sky also loves to talk to Keaton, and to see pictures of Keaton, from baby on. It's hard to believe that he's only a year younger than her. It seems like there was so much of a time difference but there really wasn't. Aaron and Katie, (my brother-in-law and his wife), are expecting again in Feburary, and just found out that they're having a little girl! How exciting is that, they've got one boy, and now one girl! Mom seems to be doing well and is healthy and hardy. Congrats to Aaron and Katie!
Well that's all I've got to say for now, so I'm going to go head off and get something to drink!
Our love to all!
Tiffany and Family
